Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Merchant", "you") and Codeoptix ("we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the StoreMapDirectory Shopify application ("App", "Service").

By clicking "Install", "Select BASIC", "Upgrade to FLEX", or otherwise accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

You also agree to comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and API Terms.

Service Description

StoreMapDirectory is a Shopify application that enables merchants to create and display an interactive store locator map on their Shopify storefront. The App provides:

• An interactive map widget (powered by Leaflet.js & OpenStreetMap)
• A dashboard to add, edit, and manage store/location listings
• Search, filtering, and directory views for store visitors
• Get Directions integration via Google Maps links
• Featured products display on location detail panels
• Plan-based features as described in Section 4

Eligibility

To use StoreMapDirectory, you must:

• Have an active Shopify store
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your business
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

Subscription Plans & Billing

Billing Terms

• All plans are billed monthly through Shopify's Billing API
• Charges begin after the 14-day free trial period ends
• Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods

14-Day Free Trial

All plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial:

• Full plan features are available
• No credit card charge occurs
• If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged
• If you do not cancel, billing begins automatically on day 15 via Shopify

Each merchant is eligible for one free trial per plan. Repeated install/uninstall cycles to exploit free trials may result in account suspension.

Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Your location data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
• We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a billing period
• For billing disputes, contact billing@codeoptix.in within 30 days of the charge

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use StoreMapDirectory to:

• Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent location information
• Upload illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringing content as location images or descriptions
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its backend services
• Exceed plan location limits through technical workarounds
• Resell or sublicense the App to third parties
• Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable laws or Shopify's policies
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our backend API data

Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

Your Data & Content

You retain full ownership of the location data you enter into StoreMapDirectory. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display this data as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

• Location information you enter is accurate and up to date
• You have the right to use any images or content you upload
• Your use of the App complies with your own privacy obligations to your customers

Intellectual Property

The StoreMapDirectory application, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Codeoptix and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its underlying code without our express written permission.

The StoreMapDirectory name, logo, and brand are trademarks of Codeoptix.

Disclaimers

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Map data from OpenStreetMap or geocoding results will be 100% accurate
• Google Maps directions links will always function as expected (subject to Google's own terms)
• The App will be compatible with all future versions of Shopify

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codeoptix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of StoreMapDirectory.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to StoreMapDirectory at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

For merchants in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify active merchants via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
